Terms of Use
The ground rules for using this site and its demos, and how responsibilities work when we build for you.
The short version: use the site fairly, check anything the AI demos produce before relying on it, and know that automations depend on other companies' platforms, so we fix problems promptly but can't promise they'll never happen.
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of northflowautomation.ca, including the live demos. The site is run by Northflow Automation ("Northflow", "we", "us"), a business name registered in Ontario, Canada and operated by Spencer Owen as a sole proprietorship. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Information on this site
The site describes what we do and gives general information about automation. It isn't legal, financial, or professional advice for your specific situation. Examples, scenarios, and estimates, including the time savings calculator and the illustrated demo with Mike and Jordan, are illustrations only and not promises of any particular result.
The live demos
- The demos use artificial intelligence. The results can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable, so don't rely on them without checking.
- Don't enter sensitive personal information, or anything you don't have the right to share.
- The demos are provided free and as is. We may limit, change, or remove them at any time.
Using the site fairly
Please don't misuse the site. That includes trying to break, overload, or get around its security or usage limits, using automated tools to scrape it or hammer the demos, submitting unlawful or harmful content, or impersonating someone else. We may block access to anyone who does.
Our content
The Northflow name, logo, text, design, and code on this site belong to Northflow Automation. You're welcome to view and share links to the site, but please don't copy or reuse its content or branding without permission.
Our services and responsibilities
Paid work is governed by a separate written service agreement, which takes priority over these terms for that work. So everyone knows where they stand from the start, these principles apply to everything we build:
- Automations rely on other companies' platforms, such as email providers, phone and texting services, spreadsheets, calendars, automation platforms, and AI providers. We don't control them, and we aren't responsible for their outages, changes, pricing, or errors.
- We monitor and maintain what we build and fix problems within a reasonable time, but we don't guarantee that any automation will run without interruption or error.
- We don't guarantee business results, such as a number of leads, bookings, reviews, or sales.
- AI written content should be reviewed. Unless you choose to send something automatically, replies are drafted for you to approve. You're responsible for messages sent from your accounts and for checking anything important before it goes out.
- You're responsible for consent. You're responsible for having the permission required by law, including under CASL, to contact your customers by email, text, or phone.
- Your accounts and data stay yours. You're responsible for keeping your own account access secure and backed up.
No warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the site and the demos are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that they'll be accurate, uninterrupted, or error free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Northflow Automation will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, business, customers, opportunities, or data, arising from your use of this site or the demos, even if we were told such losses were possible. For use of the site itself, which is free, our total liability is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars ($100 CAD). For paid services, liability is limited as set out in the service agreement.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
If you misuse the site
If you use the site in breach of these terms or the law and that causes a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs arising from it.
Other websites
The site may link to other websites and services. We're not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Ontario.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top will change when we do. Questions about them can go to contact@northflowautomation.ca.
